The Green Door

The Green Door is located in the International District at 1207 S.Jackson St (12th and Jackson). Accessible from many points in inner Seattle (including the somewhat untapped Capitol Hill) it sits in a public and secure parking lot surrounded by a yellow two-story building. If you stand facing away from the street, look to the right hand corner. On the bottom floor you’ll see a green door with white lettering stating ‘Members Only’.
The waiting room is one of the more dignified atmospheres you come across in Washington’s co-op scene. Wood floors and minimalist art hangings are enjoyed next to leather couches and the usual magazines. A poster-size display in the corner sported the weekly special, Super Silver Girl. It included a statement from the grower and a list of its medicinal uses. You can read more about Super Silver Girl in theirĀ menu.
